    I have a problem with my distributor the pump runs normally but at the outlet of the distributor there is no grease

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial 2 месяца назад

      The divider valves require the use of ports 1 and 2, then any combination thereafter can be used. If every outlet is used, you may not see very much lubricant dispensed per port. We are talking a fraction of the amount you might see a grease gun can dispense per stroke. Large systems have multiple valves and may take several minutes to cycle through all the outlets. This is by design to meter a specific amount of lubricant to each lubrication point during the designated lubrication event. May I suggest contacting our technical support group, they can walk you through the system and send manuals as needed. Email: Lincoln.tech.service@skf.com, Phone: 1-844-772-1341. ~ John

    Listening tp you is lijevreading the firts 10 pages of a new book ots of non valid info! Get to the point,why doesn't my new grease gun with a new cart not pumping grease !even if oil is separating the hand pump should pump. Q: is there supposed to be a ball bearing in the outlet port,where the grease nozzle screws onto,as I see a spring,with a ball bearing behind d it. So,I can only say this is supposed to get pushed on when the nozzle is screwed in! You shoukd tell us about crappy grease,after u tell us why it won't pump,after I squeeze the pump handle several times! As mine is a brand new grease gun from Amazon,and the cartridge is new,well just off tge hardware shelf today! May 16,2024!😮

      @lincolnindustrial 2 месяца назад

      Which grease gun do you have? Majority of our handheld grease guns have a threaded cap on the front which houses a spring and the check ball. Watching this video shows where this ball check is located. In some cases(Even new) the check ball may stick to the check seat, and may need a slight push to unseat. fill the grease gun head piston passage with a thin oil and slowly cycle the handle should create enough pressure to unseat the ball. Other times its as simple as an air pocket is still sitting between the grease and the cartridge and the ball check. Please follow this prime procedure first: ruclips.net/video/dXktcAKDjY8/видео.html. If you have any further issues, please contact our Technical service group. ~ John

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial 7 месяцев назад

      The manual should have all the code descriptions. F simply stands for Fault. the number is the time the Fault has been active. Has the system run a full cycle at all? Normally the indicator of the issue is through the lights below the screen where the lights point to the features that are active or in fault status. If you need a manual, check out our website or send an email request to the Tech group. ~John

    We are using the ac2400 for wind turbine maintenance and they are not holding prime. One is new this year and the other is a year old. We have been using the priming instructions and they will run for a while but lose prime again. Any advice?

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial 8 месяцев назад

      This time of year we typically see an increase in loss of prime inquiries. Weather/temperature can play a big role in staying primed. In colder environments, the grease may not flow as easily compared to warmer environments and will lose prime. this is especially true with very tacky greases or greases with high volumes of solids(molybdenum is a common solid additive). Other issues such as a dented grease cartridge can bind the follower and reduce the forward pressure on the grease. Debris or solids build up in the check area can also cause priming issues, even in new guns. Assuming winterlike weather, options would be to warm the grease tubes prior to use, or try a lighter grease, clean out the grease gun head more frequently to reduce build up of solids/debris. Use damage free grease cartridges. Hope this helps! ~John

    Why does the cordless Lincoln power grease dcd screen flash red and then shut down... no mention of this in manual troubleshooting

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial Год назад

      most of our newer model grease guns have a thermal protection in them that will shut the gun off if too high of an amp draw is detected. This protects the motor from burning up. In some guns a flashing red screen may also indicate loss of prime and will shut the gun down if attempting to dispense continues too long while airbound. Usually occurs at very high pressure, such as a blockage, or resistance in the lubrication point. We normally suggest cleaning passages in the head of the gun and flushing the whip hose to see if this will help. ~ John

    Do you know why my spring bar is pushing through the full tube of grease?

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial Год назад

      the locking rod and Tee handle are designed to lock into the Follower when refilling or swapping grease tubes. It then can be twisted and pushed into the tube assembly out of the way during use. The follower should stay with the level of grease in the tube. Couple reasons grease may find its way behind the follower are: - damaged cartridge - worn/damaged, or non malleable main seal of follower. (In rare cases, greases may have additives that may cause damage to the follower seal.) - worn/damaged sealing o-ring to tee handle. - solids or debris allowing an opening to form at a seal, due to pressure, the grease will bypass. - pitting, or and scratches or gouges on the follower rod. I would suggest emptying the tube assembly, removing the end cap, spring, rod and follower as an assembly, and give them a good cleaning with a degreasing soap. check the seals for any damage, as well as the rod. ~John

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial Год назад

      SSV divider valves require the use of ports one(1) and two(2). Plug ports three(3) through six(6) with the recommended closure plug. What this will do is triple the output of the open ports because the lubricant from the closed ports will be redirected to the open ports. I was baffled when this video didn't solve the "air lock" problem with my usually trusty compressed air grease gun. Then a little detective work led to an easy to fix but obscure problem. The seal on the plunger within the AIR piston chamber was no longer air tight against the walls. Just run some grease around the walls and the seal itself. Problem solved. In retrospect the sure sign that this is what was going on was a stronger than usual air blast out of the ~1/16 inch diameter exhaust port on the air piston chamber (near the top of the gun) each time the trigger was pulled. This may save some of your users some real aggravation.

    I noticed in this video you somehow twisted the rod and pushed it all the way into the tube with a FULL CARTRIDGE. How is that possible with a tube full of grease? Is there any spring pressure on the grease then since I thought the follower is hard connected to the pull rod?

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial 2 года назад

      If you watch at 1:40, the insert on the bottom left shows how the rod locks into the plunger so the user can press on the grease to assist in forcing air from between the grease and the head of the grease gun. Simply twisting the rod with a small amount of pressure will disengage the rod and allow it to store in the tube assembly. ~ John

I'm using NLGI #2 grease, but I also warmed up the grease with a bucket warmer to 40C to significantly decrease the viscosity and give the pump a better chance. if only it was that easy, I've had extreme difficulty priming cordless and pneumatic [ air ] guns, I've learned of a new trick that ill be trying, packing the head of the gun before threading tube on, I've seen this in a couple videos and it seems to work and its the only thing i haven't tried, ill be trying it next time.....

    • @lincolnindustrial
      @lincolnindustrial 3 года назад

      It's normally because pneumatic and battery operated units are cycling so fast, they simply cavitate if the air pocket is a significant size. The goal is to remove as much air as possible between the lubricant in the cartridge and the piston before cycling the unit so it does not become airbound/airlocked. Packing the head with lubricant and bleeding the trapped air through the tube assembly threads before hand usually solves this problem. ~John.

      Potentially. Lubricant could have gotten passed the plunger somehow. would you be able to email us a few photos and a brief description please so we can take a look? This will help our technical support group with a better understanding of the issue and suggest a solution. Tech email: lincoln.tech.service@skf.com ~ John

    How the pump 203 open the plastic reservoir

      our more popular P203 units have a threaded top on them for maintenance purposes, however, for reservoir removal, most are threaded on to an adapter on the body or it's a quarter turn counter clockwise. We offer special tools for their removal but a strap wrench at the base of the reservoir will work as well. ~John
